This beautiful vintage Coach Sonoma backpack is crafted from soft glove-tanned leather in a rich golden tan color that has developed a lovely natural patina over time. The Sonoma collection was produced in the mid-1990s and is known for its supple leather, relaxed structure, and understated minimalist design.
Unlike traditional backpacks, this Sonoma style features a single shoulder sling strap, allowing the bag to sit comfortably on the shoulder while maintaining the look of a bucket backpack. The drawstring closure faces the wearer, making it both practical and secure when carried.
The leather is incredibly soft and slouchy while still maintaining its structure. This is a rarer Sonoma design and a wonderful example of classic vintage Coach craftsmanship.
